Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What will I be able to find at this area of your website?
A: Glad you asked! Here you will be able to find the most frequently asked questions - and their answers - asked of us by our clients. This is a great place to learn about everything we have to offer, whether it be what our different modalities can provide, how to use the website and online scheduling, to what proper etiquette is in ours or other wellness clinics - and much more. If you don't see your question listed here, please email us at info@metropolitantherapies.com.

Q: When is the clinic open?
A: The clinic is open Sunday through Saturday and evenings. Most appointments are scheduled ahead of time, however, walk-ins are welcome.

Q: Why don't practitioners at the clinic accept gratuities?
A: The clinic is a professional wellness environment and our practitioners are licensed through the medical board of Ohio, including massage therapists, physical therapists, and chiropractors. Because Metropolitan Therapies Ltd is a medical facility, gratuities are not accepted.

Q: Will insurance cover my treatment?
Depending on your coverage plan, it may. Physical Therapy patients with Medicare are fully covered. Physical Therapy patients with other insurance can be pre-certified to find out what is covered prior to their first visit. Concerning massage therapy, acupuncture and other modalities, Metropolitan Therapies Ltd doesn't bill directly to insurance, we can provide a fee bill with the appropriate codes so that you can get reimbursement from your insurance.

Q: What if I want to see another practitioner, different from who I've already seen?
A: Metropolitan Therapies Ltd is a collaborative which means the practitioners work together as a team for the benefit of each visitor. Therefore, you should always feel comfortable working with any practitioner at any time.
